Time isn't your friend.

Shit Happens but Life Goes On 26th December 2020. Life can be a pain in the ass, isn’t it? We all have those days when everything runs smoothly and goes right. Sometimes, or quite a lot of times, we also see chaotic days when everything seems as if it’s falling apart. But, shit happens, in fact when we least expect it. Ever heard of the expression “there’s no use crying over spilt milk”? What’s done is done. Whether if it’s someone cheating on you, losing your job or a friend, to failing an exam, whatever it is –  it happens for a reason, and is for the best of us. What we have to do is to clean up that milk, and move on with a positive attitude. You may dwell on it in the beginning, which obviously is a normal reaction. However, life is too short to permanently waste your time and energy over something that cannot be undone. Because in reality, it isn’t going to make the situation any better. Instead, it is important for us to accep...

7 Signs of unhealthy friendships: Instead of blaming others as ‘toxic’, a more healthy question might be, what makes a relationship unhealthy? 1. One person does all the talking. Some of us are more naturally talkers than the other, and introverts are attracted to chatty extroverts. But if you do need to talk, is the other person able to shut up and listen? Of course listening is more than about words. Sometimes listening means a hug, or just sitting in silence together. 2. There is an unequal balance of giving/taking. We all go through rough patches where we need a lot of support, so it’s normal for their to be periods where one friend does the taking and the other the giving. But if the taker is never available to be a giver, then there is a problem, or even a co-dependency issue. 3. There are no differences between you. Think a good friendship means you are like ‘peas in a pod’? Not at all. No two people are alike, a...

Acceptance is what all we need to learn.

“ACCEPTANCE IS IMPORTANT” Cultivating a shift in one’s mind set is what is needed for true acceptance. This shift must move from criticism and negativity to acknowledgment and responsibility. Even if that shift doesn’t inspiring, it is important to remember that the pain underneath acceptance is not meant to disappear, only the suffering itself may lessen. Those things for which we can accept, we can effectively let go of as well, a freedom to move past life’s greatest challenges. Acceptance is key, it unlocks the denial, fear and negativity of a circumstance or challenge we may face by opening the door for us to face it head on. In other words, acceptance is about ‘getting real’. So often we feel stuck in the mire of stress, powerless to control outcomes, acceptance is a practice that will genuinely affect our ability to make lasting change. Many people find the word ‘acceptance’ to signify weakness by linking it to passivity. Real acceptance is quite the opp...

Harsh words gives the deepest wounds...

"Ov ercoming Harsh Words and Rude People” Have you noticed, it is easier to love someone who thinks great about you than like someone who thinks you are of no good? The words of people have profound affect on our hearts, no matter what. There is a deep need within all of us, to be loved and accepted by people around us. This need makes us curious to know how people feel about us. And this knowledge about what people think about us further sets us on a journey of emotions.                                                                          It’s amazing how deeply your respect for an indiv...

Our busy life :/

"WHAT IS LIFE?" What is life? if it's full of care, We have no time to stand and stare? No time to see, when woods we pass, Where squirrels hide their nuts all over the grass. No time to see the beauty of daylight rays, Even the streams full of stars and breath taking skies of the night. No time to see her speaking again Oh that moment, when her  happiness began. Hey my friend, this is life Where we have no time to stand and stare.                                                               ...

Toxic people are like Mustard

Some people are like " M ustard " in our life they are not harmful to us if we don't spend  to much time with them, just like our burger or sandwich don't taste bad if we add a little amount of " Mustard " init. But too much involvement of people like " Mustard " in our life. Will make our life a mess. Just like too much of " Mustard " will ruin the taste of our burger or sandwich. So try to be careful while adding " Mustard " in your food ;) and also be very careful while choosing the people by whom you wanted to be with.                                                            ~ Mahek.
